Language Clinic for Primary School Children

We live in an extremely complicated world that is fast paced, challenging and exciting. Within this world, people need to make sense of information and complex stimuli. In addition, they need to assess sensory details and communicate and understand messages accurately.

There is little doubt that effective language skills provide the key to insight, discernment and communication. The four pillars of language are: reading, writing, listening and speaking, yet these are often taught as isolated units as opposed to an integrated whole. Our Language Clinic has endeavoured to offer primary school students an opportunity to enhance their language acumen and give them a head start in achieving in all subjects across the curriculum. The pillars of language acquisition have been presented in a cohesive manner to ensure that children begin to make connections between ideas, contribute meaningfully to discussions, write with purpose and sift through information perceptively and with curiosity.

Our Language Clinic is fully interactive and has been designed to both educate and inspire primary school children. In addition to the necessary formality of lessons, there are a variety of games and an AI speaking and reading app to enhance verbal abilities. There are numerous assessments and accurate reporting to ensure that children and their parents can monitor progress and a Reading for Results section to improve reading speed and fluency.
